May 17, 2041 @ 0500 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well I suppose the date and time doesn\u2019t even matter. But the mission control says we are headed THERE. The place of dreams some may say, the journey of a lifetime. Blasted into the unknown. The speeds are intended to be the fastest a human has ever experienced in real life. I should be ecstatic, but and when I say but; I am shitting bricks (Christmas Vacation<\/a> as it would be Christmas time on earth). We have a totally different calendar year here at the outpost. It takes some getting used to. Years in the suck has rendered me compulsive with damn near everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had higher expectation of the initial start of the engines and highly volatile explosives only meters beneath me. We at a go. Last system checks. I was officially sitting in my horizontal office chair<\/a> ready for work. There is no overtime. No hazard pay. No opportunity for return where we go from here is human research and will God willing end gracefully having accomplished something no six people have ever attempted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The count down has started \u2026 10, 9, 8, 7, somehow, I missed 6, 5, 4. At that moment I felt a jolt, a rush, an awaking I was lifted ! Holy shit this is amazing ! There are no words I can say as I looked to the right window. The flashes of color was amazing ! I looked to the left, I looked straight ahead and all I could see where the stars peering back at me. Mesmerized by the event I closed my eyes a tear ran down my face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was at that moment I realized I had passed out at the bar again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
